Tara Torre is Head of Equities Design at Citadel, where she leads the creation of next-generation tools for the world’s most elite investors. Her work sits at the intersection of design, data, and high-stakes decision-making—bringing clarity and precision to the complex workflows of fundamental equities.
Before Citadel, she held senior design leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Axioma, and Goldman Sachs, where over 11 years as Vice President of User Experience she helped define how global markets professionals interact with financial systems. Her career spans some of the most demanding environments in finance and technology, consistently raising the bar for how design supports performance at scale.
Tara studied Communication Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and earned a Bachelor of Science in Digital Communications from New York University.
Raised under the wide skies of Emigrant, Montana, she brings the clarity of mountain landscapes into her design philosophy: focused, human, and enduring. She now lives in Harlem with her husband, Bobby, and their cat, Uni—balancing life between the intensity of Wall Street and the creativity of her kitchen and travels.
